For the past few months, SeaGrown has been on an incredible journey as part of the Bright Tide AgriBlue Accelerator programme. Last week, that journey culminated in the AgriBlue Venture Showcase at the Barclays Innovation Lab in London, where they presented SeaGrown's work to a room full of investors, innovators, and industry leaders.

Being part of an accelerator is an intense and rewarding experience. It’s an opportunity to refine your business model, challenge your assumptions, and connect with mentors and peers who are all working at the cutting edge of sustainability.

For us, the programme was a fantastic opportunity to sharpen our focus on our nature-positive solutions and to learn from the other eleven brilliant, inspiring companies in our cohort who are all dedicated to creating a more sustainable future.

We asked our Founder and Science Director, Laura Robinson, for her reflections on the programme: "The Bright Tide accelerator was an invaluable experience. It provided the opportunity to connect with a cohort of genuinely inspiring, like-minded innovators as well as a really diverse network of people who want to see our oceans thrive. The programme has reinforced the importance of collaboration in tackling the huge environmental challenges we face."

Presenting our vision at the final showcase was a proud moment and a testament to the hard work of our entire team. We left the programme feeling energised, with a host of new connections and a renewed sense of purpose.
