The Art of the Sunday Steep

The Art of the Sunday Steep

The 15th of March is approaching. The commercial instinct is to fill the day with noise, wilting flowers, and frantic lunches.

We suggest the opposite. We suggest a locked door. A drawn bath. The unbroken depth of the North Sea.

We cultivate our harvest in a high-energy environment. The winter months on our offshore site are relentless. The crew pulls the Laminaria from freezing water so you can drop it into a hot bath. It is a stark contrast. It is also highly effective.

Our Seaweed Mineral Bath Soak is not built on synthetic fragrances or cosmetic illusions. It is built on biology. The soak relies on two primary, natural mechanics to force a pause.

First, the release. We use pure Epsom salts. This provides a dense concentration of magnesium. When dissolved in warm water, the magnesium actively draws the tension directly out of tired muscles.

Second, the restoration. We blend the salts with our own sustainably cultivated Yorkshire seaweed. Grown on our patented Kelpedo™ units offshore, this Laminaria is rich in marine minerals. It conditions the water. It softens the skin. It forces the body to physically unfurl.

A Resilient New Vessel

The ocean refines things over time. We follow suit.

We have recently updated the packaging for our soak. Cardboard has its place, but not on the wet edge of a bathtub. We have moved to a resilient tin. It is infinitely recyclable. It protects the mineral depth inside and survives the damp environment outside. Form following function.

This Mothering Sunday, do not buy her something she will throw away on Monday.

Give her the space to slow down.
